Mike Young and Michael Roblin of Dynamic Property Management set the bar pretty high when it comes to the business of property management in Squamish.
“The vast knowledge and in-depth experience that is required to be an outstanding property manager is extraordinary,” explained Young, who co-founded the company in 2006. “Managing people’s largest investment and doing it well takes an unwavering work ethic, eagle-eye focus and cutting-edge expertise that is often overlooked when selecting a management company.”
Young graduated from college with honours in marketing and finance, and has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, management and real estate.
Roblin has been involved with Squamish and North Shore real estate for more than 20 years as well; and both have completed their Brokerage License, which is the highest and more advanced level of licensing under the Real Estate Services Act. Young is also one of only 36 strata agents in the province to receive the nationally recognized designation of Registered Condominium Manager.
“We firmly believe that there is a difference in being a professional property management company and a licensed property management company,” he said. “Professional managers make professional development a priority. And in order to stay current, with ever-changing legislation and relevant court decisions we remain committed to professional development by attending numerous courses, seminars, and conferences.”
The company specializes in professional property management services for strata corporations and investors of residential and commercial real estate.
“We maximize returns for investors and provide expert advice to strata councils to support their goals with respect to the day-to-day operation and long-term planning for the strata corporation to ensure their investment remains problem-free, current and sought-after,” said Young. “We provide the highest level of service to all of our clients and we’re the corridor’s only Better Business Bureau Accredited property management company.”
Dynamic Property Management also regularly reinvests into new technologies to assist in providing that exceptional service.
“We’ve recently invested in the industry leading Yardi Voyager and CondoCafe,” he said. “In addition to offering the latest cutting-edge, industry-specific technology, the programs provide our clients access to two-way, real-time information about their strata corporation.”
They also believe in investing back into the community in which they live, work and play.
“We firmly believe that there is a difference in being a professional property management company and a licensed property management company,”
Young has been an in-school mentor with Big Brothers for the past seven years and coaches both his children in minor ball. He has also been an active board member at Sea to Sky Community Services for the past four years. Roblin is an avid volunteer at many local biking events, such as the Test of Metal and he can regularly be found on the mountain bike trails, in hockey arenas and soccer pitches throughout the Lower Mainland.
Most of all, the Dynamic team genuinely just enjoys the work they do and are always striving to meet their original mandate to set the gold standard for property management in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
“I pride myself on delivering outstanding customer service,” said Young. “I enjoy the day-to-day problem solving that is inevitable in this fast-paced, ever-changing environment. From flooding and fires to elevator breakdowns and long-term maintenance planning – not to mention everything in-between – we remain responsive, adaptable and dedicated.”
